Five minutes from download to protection
Download the build for your system, install it and add your exchange keys. After that it works on its own.
Install it
macOS: open Odysseus.dmg and drag the app into Applications — don't run it from the image, it can't store settings there. Windows: run the installer, it does the rest and creates a shortcut.
First launch
macOS asks for confirmation once — the standard question for a freshly downloaded app. Windows shows a blue SmartScreen window: click More info, then Run anyway.
One free week
On first launch press Start trial: one week, no card, no payment. The trial is granted once per device.
Bybit API key
On bybit.com create an API key with Read and Trade permissions for Unified Trading. Withdrawal permission is not needed — don't grant it. The key and secret are entered in the app and stored in the macOS keychain; they never reach our server.
Limits
Set your maximum position size and maximum entry size — that is the whole position including leverage: the same number as in the exchange's Size column. Switch protection on: from that moment the app trims anything beyond the limits itself.
The code from the email
After payment the code arrives by email. Enter it in the app — the code is permanent, renewing the subscription only extends the expiry date. One code works on three devices.
If something goes wrong
“Cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified”
This happens when the file came from somewhere else or the download was cut short. Download the image again with the button above and check the SHA-256.
macOS asks for the keychain password
Press “Always Allow”. The app keeps all keys in a single keychain entry, so the question is asked once, not per account.
The app says the subscription is inactive
Check the code in settings and your internet connection: offline the app runs on the last successful check, but not forever. If the payment went through and no code arrived — write to us on Telegram @alex_vardu_merfi.
